Alternative Energy ZAP (ZAAP) Unveils New Battery Charger to Be Used for iPhones, BlackBerries and Other Mobile Devices

ZAP (OTCBB: ZAAP: Summary, Messages, Articles) has unveiled its mobile R03 Micro Lithium Backup Charger. The R03 charger has USB and three other connectors, making it compatible with 80 percent of the mobile phone market, a company news release states. That includes the iPhone, Motorola, Samsung, Nokia and LG phones.
The R03 is small enough to fit into pants pockets or a purse and sells retail for $19.99. Technical specifications include that it features 1050 MHA lithium with a USB output of 5 volts.
â[I]f you run out of power it could literally mean you are out of business.,â say ZAP CEO Steve Schneider. âI’ve used Recharge-It-All on business trips and never have to worry about running out of power.”
ZAP says its Recharge-It-All device is the only platform that isnât wedded to one particular company. âRecharge-It-All combines advanced battery storage with smart charge controller technology,â a ZAP news release states, âthat can sense and adapt to a range of different voltages required by your favorite electronic devices.â
ZAP manufacturers a broad line of electric vehicles, with the ZAP Alias planned as the next up-to-date vehicle to come off the production line.
